On the road again

Screen Shot 2016-04-14 at 8.08.44 AM.pngWe are humbled as we go from state to state sharing the story of Emma Gatewood. We get wonderful feed back and comments about this film’s important message. We just got this comment and picture from our presentation in Lexington, VA.

“I know it’s a long time in coming but… my editor found a space to put the photo I took of you talking with several AT thru-hikers after your presentation and film discussion awhile back in Lexington.

Everyone very much enjoyed that interesting evening–both seeing the film and then hearing you talk about it. We (my son and I ) particularly liked the opportunity to talk with you a little extra afterwards. I do hope your film will screen at Virginia Film Festival next fall…I know Jody, the director, was most enthusiastic  when I’d told him about it, and I hope that’ll turn into something definite so others in the area will also have the opportunity to see the film and be able to have a discussion about it with you.” Claudia Schwab

This week we will be in two places. Producer Bette Lou Higgins will be presenting at the University of  Pikeville 6:30pm (http://www.upike.edu/Events/Academics/Trail-Magic-The-Grandma-Gatewood-Story-Screening) , Kentucky 4/14 and director Peter Huston will be at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy “Flip Flop Festival” in Harpers Ferry, WV on Saturday 4/16 at 7pm in the “Barn”.Screen Shot 2016-03-27 at 12.34.12 PM
