2014 Women Making Movies Fundraisers
Join us for an exclusive fundraising event: OHIO WOMEN THEN AND NOW — A series of programs celebrating women’s history month with a different presentation each week. Sponsored by Women Making Moves and Eden Valley, each week will spotlight an historic heroine! The presentations will take place at 7p.m. and will include the show and light refreshments. Each week will be a different topic at a different location at Cuyahoga Community and Lorain County Community College.

Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Lorain County Community College: Alisa Riccardi will portray Cleveland photographer, Margaret Bourke-White – famous WWII photo-journalist and the first accredited female war correspondent.
Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Tri-C East: find out about Eleanor Roosevelt whenKathie Dice brings this famous first lady to life.
Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Tri-C West/Parma: Anne McEvoy will bring Ohio’s persistent presidential candidate Victoria Woodhull to life.
Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Tri-C Westshore: Our series closes with an overview of some famous female history makers presented by Betty Zak who will introduce us to such historic heroines as Katherine Lee Bates – Educator, Author, Poet; Ohio Sharp-shooter, Annie Oakley and Maya Lin – Ohio Architect and Designer of the Vietnam Memorial.
